INCHCAPE Warranty? Anyone have it/heard of it?

Yes, I can provide you with an extended warranty.  I would require an inspection to be carried out on the vehicle at a cost of £150.  The warranty options are as follows:
 
12 months - £699
24 months - £899
36 months - £1099

So what's the deal with PLAN B? I hear it's a £55 labour rate but how much would you have to front up for parts?

Basically, everything is covered apart from the normal service items, sat nav or any aftermarket add ons. They also won't cover 'external oil leaks' I'm not sure exactly what they mean by that though. You can have it repaired by any garage and iirc they paid out for Mooch's heads,turbos and gearbox.

The warranty even comes with a fairly decent nationwide roadside assistance. Covers hotel accom/home start etc.

I just chose Swindon Audi, as Its a nicer drive to Swindon then Bolton, Cotswolds anyone? I've also got a mate with a new A7 I can meet up with whilst I'm there and check out his new motor.

Uh oh. Told him I'd like to go ahead for 36 months and I'd be in touch to book the inspection, then I got this reply.

I have spoken with the Warranty company as the prices previously quoted may not cover the costs of your particular vehicle due to the profile of it.  I was mis-informed.  Please accept my apology that this is the case.

The three year warranty still sounds like a good deal, a bit pissed off with the inspection being £200 more. What do you guys reckon?

Audi warranty. All day long

The cost of the Audi warranty for one year is more than the Inchcape for three years, I have been assured in writing from Maidstone Audi that the cover is comparable apart from the Sat nav is not covered, I can take the car to any Audi garage of my choice too.
