its seen 186 on a closed section of motorway,180 on a closed section of a-road and various jaunts on various b and even c roads....I hardly think im not exploring its capabilities.
Rule 1 or it didn't happen!!!

Or care to tell us which particular sections of motorway and A roads were so conveniently closed, and how you gained access - so we can all go and play??

I'm not usually a skeptical fellow.... but....

You're based in Central Scotland, and work in N Scotland... yet conveniently just after you bought the car you happened to be in NW England and found a closed section of the A55 - something the Highways Agency have no knowledge of BTW (the only planned work on the A55 is the resurfacing of one roundabout near Chester)! Or perhaps it was the M55 - at least there have been overnight closures on that in the past two weeks (you've owned the car since 6th Aug right?). Fortunately they have video surveillance to protect the workforce on such works so I've asked them if they will pull the records so you can have a video of your escapade! It would be a shame to not have any record!

Anyone care to hazard a guess at how far one needs to go to get to 186MPH?? The total section of closed road is.....

Oh yes.. I'm on it OK...

I remember having some mad runs down the A55. Pretty grim to be honest and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, especially after a hot curry.
