Re: RS 51X CS,daytona avant
I seen the 40 quid uk version one, I also seen the few german 20 quid versions and the damaged uk version 18 quid copy....
I asked a question on a 99p auction whether it was a uk or german version and after confirmation it was a uk version I tabled a 20 quid bid based on the others....
and won the auction at 99p.......chuffed, surprised and also quite smug. Genuinely a great read also,50 page hard back book although there are quite a few pages are overlays but nevertheless I'm so glad I noticed it and picked it up

Re: RS 51X CS,daytona avant
Definitely a bargain!
Must be someone else then I got out bid at £15.03 last week.
The one I bought is immaculate and a uk version so pleased with it, would have preferred 99p to £20 but never mind
Interesting that the spec sheet in the back doesn't mention 19" wheels just two different sets of 18" ?

These seem to come up quite regularly, think I paid between £10-15 last year. They are a nice thing tokeep with the car. I have a feeling someone somewhere has a shed full of them and is selling them slowly.

My softback price list , UK version 1.01/03 states
Standard equipment 9j x 19 five arm alloy low profile 255/35 R19
and
Optional equipment
8.5j x 18 '9 spoke' alloy wheels with 255/40 R18
according to the wiki , USA only got 18" wheels on the C5 , so maybe your right, your book is English, but the USA version ............awesome dude
the 18" optional wheels in the UK and EU where a free option

Having had a better look mine says standard equipment 18's and optional 19's as well so does that sound like UK or US spec?audi_driver79 wrote:Mine says optional 19's and standard 18's 01.01.03
Re: RS 51X CS,daytona avant
If it says anything about memory seats, it's US spec.

Quick update but visited Unit 20 last week and no good news on the turbo front. New(recon)gearbox is here,Milltek race downpipes finally turned up and basically car now needs rolled in,engine/box out and my turbos off and sent to TTE to be inspected. If these ones fail TTE's tests then im down to buying brand new ones which im not looking forward too
delivery date is out the window for now so im looking forward too the mk3 variant vrT getting finished instead
