Impressive! I got 400 miles out a tank once, but that was nursing it home with a dodgy thermostat... The first and only time I'll be overtaken by Peugeot 106's on the A9 ;)

Well done, although I'm sure we should be invoking the rules here.

And fill up your screenwash

Yeah, it was either my blood or my coolant that was going to boil, so turned the stereo up and chilled out to some relaxing classic fm! The return trip was an epic sub 20mpg :D

Some of those cameras are now in test mode too, so probably not long before they're active. Of course past Inverness, it's a different story, but it's not exactly unfortunate the only other route north is the A93 through Glenshee and up through the Lecht. That's a route and a half :rocker:

Id came straight from the bodyshop which is why the washers were empty. If I go back up to Nigg I might consider a car with a smooth front end for the journey.....

Daz your RS is looking tip top. It looks like a show car. That paint . . . wow!!!
Shame about the seats not being up to the same standard. I hope you don't pay them anything for only doing a half decent job.
PREVIOUS: Black Audi B6 S4 Avant. Custom exhaust (sounded amazing). Otherwise standard and near perfect.
PRESENT: Muggy '53 RS6 loon. MTM Stage2. KW3s. 100 cells. Milltek.

Cheers, and I won't be. It's still at unit 20 just now hence no updates. Kinda paranoid about the paint with it having to sit outside while the turbos get finished but im hoping it'll still be okay when I get her back.

Still waiting to get it back. The first pair of turbos that went for hybridisation had micro cracks on the hotside so were u/s and im now awaiting the second set to go returning. The milltek race downpipes were also out of stock and arrival date is expected this Friday. A health check also turned up weepy rocker gaskets and the noisy bearing thats been bugging me (it started round about change of tyres time) so nothing major. Im just hoping that the closer it gets to AITP that its going to be finished in time for a clean.

I usually run OEM wheels, I am just now.... just not the 'correct' manufacturer. Probably going to put the sportecs and coils on it if thats okay lol. Its looking likely to be my sensible daily now
