Thanks, Mev.

Hotchkiss and all my baggage went through fine, the arbs were 13.6kg FYI. 10 hour flight to look forward to now, sheesh. Some of you try and make it to GTI, I'll be there Sunday, spoke to Grizz and the car is ready and waiting. :)

Home, no problems with customs at all. Hotchkiss were first piece of baggage to come on the belt for the whole flight. Going to see if MRC can fit these asap. Done power/handling, just brakes to sort now.

And so the prodical son returns!! Is there some "illegal immigrant" Mexican walking the streets of Miami buying a one way ticket to the UK under the name of "Amar" now then?... Whilst maybe trying to draw his cash from a Natwest account and not yet realising he has also waiting a Sprint blue RS6 + with a Pills (drug dealer) number plate thats just been "sorted" by the Grizz meister!! Perfect 8)

Nope, I haven’t got it, although someone found it but she told me a week after I got back to the UK and the British Consulate cancelled it to stop any immigrants stealing my identity! So it is useless now.

Back on topic, back from MRC after the Hotchkiss fitted and Milltek centered, had to get straight back to work so not had a chance to properly test them, but already I can feel a huge difference when getting on the motorway and driving along a road I was familiar with to work. They seem very promising so far, but I was more concerned with getting to work at the time promised than testing them. I’m looking forward to trying them properly; you’ll have to wait until tonight for a proper report.

Do they really make that much difference Amanda?

I ordered some from grizz, but they're on back order. After our drive back from goodwood it does need something on the handling. Although we did leave an s5 for dust.. :biggrin3:

I'll be out of the office at 8PM, going home via my favourite country roads, and taking a detour to another road in Warwick I usually only reserve for when I'm driving a BMW, loads of sharp corners that can be taken fairly fast so I'll be able to report back, Swanny.

Speaking of leaving someone for dust, a MK5 Golf GTI pulled my pants down and raped my RS6 last week. Spoke to the guy, it was heavily modified (uprated turbos etc), still though. A Golf.

What grease are you supposed to use to lubricate them?
I've just fitted some to mine but not sure if ive got any grease that's suitable.
I've got various types including red grease but that's made for rubber, not sure about using it on polyurethane

OMFG!! With no exaggeration, these Hotchkiss ARBS are unbelievable. My mate (designated driver) was driving back and I was a passenger in it, we went down this country road and the speed at which it now takes corners and changes direction is a good deal faster than before, when he went in to the corner I was thinking oh crap a bit quicker than I usually would, but the car felt solid, he could have taken the corner much quicker, there was no roll and the balance is unreal. My mate driving is an engineer for Jaguar and had been testing the XFR recently, he said mine corners better. Honestly, the difference is unreal. I could feel it as a passenger, I'm going to go down that same road myself tomorrow. The car feels so solid and flat with hardly any roll in the corners. It reminded me of my old Beemers, and that is a good thing. Handling has been transformed. Don't think about these, DO IT! After every corner he took I was blown away like, no way, is this the same car. I would say, the best money I've spent on the car so far, and that's just from the passenger seat.

 < Hotchkiss FTW.

+1 It's the best £500 you can spend on an RS6!

They cost me less than half that, but even at £500, money well spent.

Also, these have had no negative effect on ride quality in the slightest.
