Back on topic after a while.
What numbers do i have to log to see whats happening?

See what the lambda correction is doing when you are demanding lots of power (but not WOT - you need to be in closed loop mode).

If the mixture starts leaning out when you have a high demand for fuel, that would point to fuel pump problems.

It might be a MAF issue. It's been a while since I looked at this thread and I'm too lazy to go back and look at the original symptoms...

Got a code yesterday:

01177 - Engine Control Unit
49-00 - No Communications

Possibly got the code after the lack of fuel/mixture...

It's probably nothing then. You get the occasional brain fart like this. Mine does it too every now and then. Clear it and see if it comes back.

Strange thing is it (the hesitation from +/_3000rpm) never happens with cold engine.

Have to find out which pump it is, think the outside pump can get the inside pump whine when outside pump isnt working enough...?
Will have to find out which section to log, never logged before....

Just had the same problem only worse(check my threads)
If you can hear the high pressure pump run up when ignition is on,car runs fine when not up to temperature and hesitates when at temperature...your in tank lift pump is breaking down...change it
