What can I say, maybe that's the banker in me. :D

OK so maybe I was being a little over optimistic at 15 minutes and all done, I'm sure when I did mine it didn't take me very long at all. The hard part I recall was removing the old TMC box. I also used the can hi/low from there.

Footers, if you want me to post you my 2012 CD, you can copy it and then send it back. Fit it yourself, it is easy. Or get my guy that did my camera to do it. Good rates, travels and a quality job.

It looks like the "test" disc that was sent through is for Eastern Europe :D. I wasn't counting on it being the real deal so no problem there. Cheers for the offer Amar.

Shopp - FYI, I contacted PetrolDave yesterday and he has confirmed that he no longer does paid work for others.

Amar, I emailed your guy this morning but haven't heard back yet and am feeling pressed for time on this (Hazzy dayz taking too long to even reply to my appointment email) so I contacted NHN (really nice guy) and he is going to sort me out :).

I took the head unit out and as stated, easy peasy job to do myself, time permitting but there we go. Going to get a 3.5mm jack addon fitted for the hell of it but not refittingthe TV od the changer or the handsfree as I ripped all of that guff out.

Get this for your AUX, it is OEM Audi and about £10. Part number:

8J0 035 475

Then get the guy to code the AUX thing in so it is one of the available sources.

Amar , that is the kit that Nigel uses so happy days. He is looking in to how much it would cost to add in electric folding mirrors. The labour is estimated at around 4 to 6 hours alone for the mirror conversion job but his hourly rates are really good imo.

What has to be changed for the mirrors? Did a little conversion using two relays and some rewiring. Now when the engine is switched off the mirrors close in. When the key is put back in the ignition and moved to the first position, the mirrors open out. :jump:
