Nice work with the carbon, lucky.you have such great access to those facilities. All the weight saving helps, these cars are so front heavy

Can you get the pollen filter housing made? no longer available and mines all cracked and leaking.

Another update on carbon bits, as the engine stuff is still going so slow. But it will get there eventually.

This week we have been fiddling around with the dash board end caps. They still need a sanding and lacquering but are sure they will look superb on the car once fitted.

The pollen filter housing is a good idea.

I can now confirm my griddle plate with all the relevant ARP bolt’s & nuts have now arrived.

All we are waiting on is the rod bearing. But I have now been assured they are on their way to us too👌🏼

I just can’t wait to start putting pictures up of actual progress of the build itself. Never know might have it done this year😂😂

Well what can I say. As an update on this ongoing build it turns out we had wasted 2 years on time with a company to get the bottom end done to find out it hasn’t been done.
So we have collected and taken all our stuff from said company and now it’s booked in with another company who have said they will have all the work complete by the end of August🤞🏼
I can’t wait to finally start moving forward with this build again.

Stay tuned for some spicy updates in the very near future also picture too

My experience of engine rebuilders and machine shops is generally negative. A buddy just had an engine back where they were paid to remove all the oil plugs and properly clean the block. They did neither and it came back full of swarf.

I have seen a few on YT that show you how to mend plastics. They often demonstrate on car bits like broken bumper mounts and such like. You can get new plastic to melt and shape into what is missing and apparently there are such things as plastic welders now. Good idea to make a carbon version though. It could be made so it doesn't let water in :)
