Looking at the prices others have paid I reckon it would set you back about a grand.
I really want to get it done but need to top up the slushbox fund instead.

I think I'm just going to get my steering wheel re trimmed for the time being.

so the wheel I have was made using an existing audi wheel (supplied by the company) to my spec. and was about a 1/3rd of the quoted price above of around a grand (and I am talking euro) all in, so if you want a FBSW, that would be a route to it

Right, now I understand but I think you're missing the point.
Those of us that want a MFSW in a C5 have to shell out some serious cash because of all the coding/wiring etc plus the purchase price of a new wheel.

If I wanted to just get the wheel re trimmed, then I'm looking at around £130 all in. That's new perforated leather and making the wheel thicker with red stitching. They're also based in the UK.

yes - I was missing that completely - that said, when I really liked the 3 spoke in my old C5 and didnt miss the buttons. that said, even with an RNS-E, the only thing i would potentially use on a MFSW would be the volume controls
