G2/G62 coolant sensor question

The new sensor seems to have solved all the issues related to that little b*stard. Haven't had the weird charging issue, the dashboard gauge is rock solid and the fans have been operating normally. Even seems the mileage is slightly improved, but that could well be other factors.
