The B7 calipers and the C5 calipers are the same. The B5 guys upgrade to these 8 pot calipers, not the B7 lot as their cars came with them.

The B5 guys refer to the 8 piston Brembo brake caliper upgrade as the 'B7 RS 4 brake upgrade' even though the calipers are the same as the C5, it isn't referred to as the 'C5 RS 6 brake upgrade'. So I was suggesting to advertise them as B7 RS 4/C5 RS 6 calipers to increase your sales chance, but I think I ended up confusing you, and now, possibly more so.

Nono that makes perfect sense, I just want to be sure regarding the discs. On the B5, they can remove the front brace to fit the C5 discs too? Being a muppet but the word "brace" makes me think that this is parhaps an important part? Guess it must not be if people take them off.

I don't think the B7/C5 brake upgrade is that simple on the B5, but don't worry about that. The B5 guys are plenty clued up on how to fit them. If you take the brace off the C5 caliper it is exactly the same as the B7 caliper. That doesn't mean they can fit C5 discs though, I dunno how they would fit, only the B5 guys know that... They generally fit the B7 discs which are different offset to the C5 ones. I'd flog the calipers and discs separately. There's always someone looking for discs on here.
