It's a good sign for the forum when a post like this ends with a handshake (almost). Self-regulation seems to work well here which shows the level of maturity. If this post had appeared on another forum I can think of it would have been 10 pages long by now, locked and several members banned :thumb:

I've only just seen this thread, have to say I had a right laugh. I havent read It all properly but just wanted to say I'm glad I've been of service.
I hope in time, you will forgive me for posting about an RS6, on an RS6 forum, and for your information me and Bam were both on this forum long before you joined the site your theory is completely flawed.

This is an Internet forum, I treat EVERYTHING as opinion and that's all it really is, nothing more.

Wow thats some bitching right there. Only been here two years but it's not a bad place to be and have some very useful help from a lot of you (THANKS !!).
I would love to have seen a reaction from Mooch on the drunken post if he was still around, something beginning with lots of F's and C's and telling the OP to take a long walk probably. Cheers.

Apology not accepted, if you had a problem with me you could have sent me a polite PM, rather then making an utter <beep> of yourself and starting a personal attack, telling us the forum used to be great to visit before me and Bam, excuse me? We've been members on here long before you even joined the forum, so that makes sense.
If you don't like it here, don't visit, we won't even know you're gone, you cuss our contributions but I don't recall you ever posting anything even remotely interesting/useful or or even slightly significant/memorable. I've scanned cars for members on here with my VagCom, organised the Midlands meet and my photos are used on the homepage of the website so I like to think I have contributed in some useful way at least. You have serious issues Baku, to get this worked up over an internet forum, I haven't a clue how you've got through life this long as there are way more serious things going on out there in the real world. Now please, feck off. :bigwave:

Nah, lighten up op, life's too serious and <beep> most of the time, a little off-topic banter and humour is a good thing.

Not been here long or posted much, but enjoy popping in and reading the humorous posts and of course the amount of useful information on tap here from fellow Audi nuts is awesome. Seriously, the amount some of you know about C5's boggles the mind! :rocker:

Amar, Isn't this post exactly what you asked people not to do? "if you had a problem with me you could have sent me a polite PM"

I'm not taking sides, but I read bakustax original post and was saddened. He apologised in public which takes a lot of guts and then you post this :(

I'm of the mind that no appology is required, everyone is entitled to an opinion, but, it's still nice to hear and I recognise the effort required.

Has anything thought about the Bookfather effect, he's always very helpful.

Yes, PM would have been the way to do it, but as he decided to do it on the open forum, that is the way I chose to respond. I've said my bit now, he called me a d1ck a few times when, that was uncalled for and went on to accuse me of hanging around all day to take photos of an RS6 when in actual fact I took one photo as I got to said location and another when I left, on my mobile which took me less then a minute. You can see clearly from the quality of the photos I wasn't hanging around all day, one has my thumb in view. Anyway, maybe I gave as good as I got in the end. Thanks for keeping my post up, Phil. Let's move on, I think this is the best RS forum on the web and don't want to spoil it.

Whatever Chief...you seem to have taken RS6 ownership to a new level...you are actually now turning your car round and giving chase on other RS6 drivers when you see one on the highway..."I felt stupid for not acknowledging him so turned around and gave chase"...WTF...this type of behaviour could be very unsettling especially to any female driver...please back off mate or you may end up in a lot of trouble.
