You should look at an S8 if you can't afford an RS6 immediately, I bought this when I was 18, there was no chance I could get an RS6 at that time. It may not be the fastest car I've owned, but it is certainly the best.

How do you afford the insurance on an S8 at 18 ?? I think i will get a B5 S4 before i can afford an RS 6, or i might get an 8L S3.

Well a B5 RS4 and a C5 RS6 saloon are a LOT cheaper to insure then an Avant, plus or non plus makes no difference.
Mev - Great car, just wish it had 500 BHP+ BHP.

So a saloon is cheaper to insure than an avant ? that does surprise me.

B5 S4 group is 20, not sure what group it is out of 50, the RS 6 is group 46. I just think a nice B5 S4 for around 5k is hard to ignore.

Go do a quote with Admiral, I think a saloon was around £500 cheaper then my Avant.

Yep, but if they're not frozen it can get messy quickly. Nothing that a good quality load liner and some industrial waste bags wont deal with mind you...
