Its probably impatience with me, trying to get everything sorted before I get home!
The other side of it is once I do get home I have very little time to spend on the car due to a 4 week old son and 4 year old daughter needing my attention. Thats why I try to get all the "leg work" done when I`m offshore.
I still dont know if I`ve got everything I need but if it does work out I will have achieved a 3 screen dvd/tv system in the car for approx £350. Thats allowing for £100 to get someone to route the cables through the seats.
I`m intending on fitting the Kufatec adaptor, AV splitter, dvd player and making the headrests fit myself.
So far the technical details the way I understand it are as follows.
Fit DVD and tap into the 12v boot suppy socket for power, ground locally, tap into the TV tuner with the kufatec.
Send AV cables x2 from DVD to seats, I`m assuming the power/signal will be included in the one cable to each screen if not then tap into the 12v rear seat socket for power and ground locally.
My only big confusion is the signal from the DVD player into the front screen, and the signal from the TV tuner into the rear screens?? The only way I can see it working is if I split the av cables loads of times?
Total Confusion (Entertainment System)??

It would help if you posted details of what you've bought. The front screen is easy enough with the Kufatec cable. THe monitors you've bought remain the unknown.

This is the manual to the DVD player model I`ve bought. Looks like only one AV output so how many times can you split?
Picture shows the headrests and the Kuf bought is the one in the link from this thread.

It's still not clear what the inputs to the screens are. Do they have separate boxes? In the photo it looks like the screens have got non-standard connectors on the end of the cables. Difficult to see. Are you sure there's no box that comes with them? Have you got a manual for them?
My alpine screens have a video out as well as a video in. This is so you can slave the second screen of the first. This means that I was able to connect the 1st alpine to the DVD player, then slave the 2nd screen of the 1st and slave the head unit of the 2nd. This avoids the need for a splitter. Maybe your screens will be the same.
If not then you'll need a video splitter because your DVD player only has one AV output. Something like this:

Luckily the place that installed the screens is my local car audio place and they are total professionals. Hopefully when I pick the screens up on Tuesday more will be made clear, plus I can go to the audio place on my way home and ask some questions.
As for the DVD, on the listing through Amazon its says quite clearly 2x AV outputs so if there is only one it will be getting returned!

I wouldn't be too hasty to return the DVD player. You might need 3 AV outputs
In which case a splitter will be necessary. I don't remember having ever seen a DVD player with more than one AV output so you might have difficulty finding one. Maybe the 2nd ouput is digital or something; In any case the manual quite clearly states that there is only 1 composite video output. There are probably cheaper splitters than the one in the link. That's just the first (active) one I came across
