You think that's weird, my Admiral quote was reduced by about 150 quid by simply changing my job description slightly. They had me down as a computer engineer but just by a sheer fluke this time around (whilst confirming the info for renewal) I said computer consultant which is exactly what I am. The girl on the phone said, 'Oh, hang-on, that makes a difference..' Apparently, it puts me in a slightly less risky category for some reason. Mad eh? Maybe I should try to claim some dough back from last year..
