lol. You love a group buy. My mirror arrived this morning - thank you for organising that.
I'd say it's rare enough - plus I'd then just mod the system as Shopp notes as first port of call - and making one from scratch is probably last resort. Might be a good challenge though.

Lol. I’m just used to owning cars when OEM parts are NLA and the only way to convince companies to produce a replica part at a reasonable price is to get at least 5 units pre sold.

To be honest I’ve only just grasped that there are two different style rads (thanks Shop). I’m not sure what style I have and mine isn’t leaking but I’m always happy to help others and don’t mind having spare parts in the loft for when mine does fail.

Steve, garage had it for 3 weeks doing the rad so although the a/c isn't sorted and he wanted to keep it till it was I decided I wanted to enjoy it for a while and so will take it back next month once I have some more credits saved up lol.
Was it just luck I got one from tps??? I will call the garage tomorrow and just make sure it was them.

Hi gav.
I would be very interested in where they got the rad from.
They had the car for 3 weeks ? Wow
Could not lose mine for 3 weeks.
At least yours is sorted now and you can enjoy.
Be even better when you get the a/c working.
Happy motoring buddy regards Steve

I think it's easier just to modify the cooling circuit to use the older style radiator that can be had for less than 150 quid.
That's certainly a cheaper and quicker option, but failing that, getting a custom made is about all the options available. I'd guess that if that is too long a process, then you're driving the wrong car as with other things, parts are rapidly becoming NLA and custom is the only other way to keep them on the road.

So, on that thought, what identifies the older style radiator and what mods are needed?
