Had the misfortune of feeling a tyre 'go' on the entry to the Clyde Tunnel. Had to drive through and stop at first available safe area...

I'm amazed it was still there.

Had similar when up at Kames (Muirkirk) recently, inner wall had been cut through by a suspension 'issue' and it went at 3pm on a Sunday. No chance of the 'gunk' working then and no tyre places open for miles around. So RAC called and I looked like an impotent nobend that couldn't even fix a puncture.

I was driving the same route a week later. Massive crater in the outside lane of the entrance to Clyde Tunnel south to north. Can't exactly leap out and take photos. Probable culprit but couldn't prove it.
