Is it possible to remove the bolts that hold this part (the one that the VSS goes into and is out on the second picture) and turn it a bit ?

This is, in fact, the method that Elsawin states you should use.
Renewing drive wheel for speedometer sender -G22-
Procedure
– Remove flange shaft (left-side) → Chapter.
– Removing and installing drive wheel for speedometer sender -G22- → Servicing automatic gearbox 01L, four-wheel drive; Rep. Gr.39
– Install flange shaft (left-side) → Chapter.
– Fill front final drive with gear oil and check oil level

@ Shopinit : the cover that you can remove is on the opposite side of the sensor ...

@ simonpoulton : yeah, I can't remove the turbo as the engine is still in the car ...

The only solution I think is viable is to turn the driveshaft "flange" anti clockwise to be able to get this sensor out ...

The only problem I need to solve is the oil that might leak (diff oil or atf ?) and if the seal HAS to be replaced !!!

The procedure you gave is not to remove the send g22, but rather to remove the housing of the sender ...

After playing arround in elsa, they say that prior to removing this housing, I should drain 0.5 litres from the diff to avoid that the diff oil and ATF mix ...

But it's still not clear about the ATF. Will it leak if I take the shaft off ?

Yeah, I know. But to remove the drive wheel you've got to remove the flange with the sensor in it.

I am guessing that the shaft goes through the gearbox via an oil seal to the diff gears on the other side. While the shaft is in place it makes a seal preventing the ATF getting into the diff oil and vice versa. When you remove the shaft then that leaves a big hole which would allow cross contamination. By removing diff oil, you bring the level below the lip of the hole. Presumably.

If the procedure say to remove the diff oil there is no reason not to. Good opportunity to put some nice new stuff in.

Hello guys, I'm back with some news !!!

I fixed the abs problem, it was the electronic part of it. I managed to code it, and everything works fine on that side.

I still have the shifting problem though ...

I have yet to change oil on the gearbox to see what good (or bad) it does...
