Adrian Flux are very good with mods and replace like-for-like... apparently. No one else would touch the 778PS mental manual except for them. They even called back to confirm if the car had non-standard seats, which it had and they covered them for no extra charge!

Are they any good as an insurer, though? I was put off by the terrible reviews.

Dunno, never crashed. That said, I had no choice, no one else would cover it.

Most of the reviews complained about the customer service - "losing" paperwork etc. rather than claims IIRC. Presumably their policies are underwritten by a real insurer.

Yeah, a 'real' insurer, I looked them up, Lombard Street based address right next to one of our clients. As long as I don't lose my paperwork I'm fine with them "losing" theirs.

Flux use a variety including Equity Redstar (ERS), Chaucer, Group AMA and Ageas (nee Fortis). I believe Group AMA & Ageas might be one-and-the same now anyway after merging

And yes, as above, the underwriter is the important bit.

Markerstudy, in my case (mod specialists, apparently.. that's mod not MOD! :-))
