Spooky, when you posted that I was stood right where their old factory used to be grabbing lunch from the Subway that is now there, first time I've ever been there too, usually visit a different one.
Was a big old site that. I was there when they started pulling it down.

I think once the dealer parts start drying up you'll find serious owners buying half decent spares cars further denuding the rs landscape and quickening the rarity. I jumped the gun and bought my parts car because it's got a fresh recon box, a good engine and has several other good condition wear items with enough breakable parts left over to pay for the initial purchase.

Some of the cheaper cars in the spectrum are perfect for this and if it means the fittest surviving then I'm sure that fits in with a current theory.
