Has your motor had drc work done? What are your views on this subject o silent one?
Cheers, and likewise Dunc.

Yeah, DRC has had lots of TLC in it's time - very much a "Theseus' paradox" as to whether out not you could accurately describe it as still on the original DRC, I guess, seeing as it's been replaced so many times...

Recently had a slight knocking sound from somewhere near the n/s/f quarter (very difficult for passengers to pinpoint... apparently...), but Camberley Audi identified and corrected for me.
Thought it may have been the DRC letting go on that corner, but seems the v3 shocks may well hold out better after all - problem in this instance was a ball joint and exhaust bracket needing adjusting, after some recent work elsewhere.

Thankfully for me, all previous DRC work (and even this recent work) has been covered under warranty.

Personally, the DRC continues to suit my requirements well - reason I got this particular model in the first place was so that the family could travel in comfort with decent practicality, but without sacrificing performance too much ;-)

Aesthetically, have to admit that I'd prefer a lower, more level stance, but you can't necessarily have it all (although I'm sure many will have an opinion on that!).

If I didn't live so close to Camberley, have suitable warranty cover in place, young family in tow, etc., then I probably would replace it the next time it failed (especially if it made more economical sense to do so).

As it stands, though, I'm more than happy with it, given my own personal circumstances/preferences. :-)
