Gave it a quick slap around but no movement so don't think that was the problem.

I got a call yesterday afternoon to say we're good to go but due to time constraints etc. I didn't get chance to chat to the technician; just a vague explanation from the receptionist about a hose repair so I can only assume that a boost pipe had either failed or blown off as I originally thought.

First impressions? Hell yeah, serious increase in torgues throughout the rev range, especially noticeable mid range. And what a top end! Whereas when running on the standard turbos the power was trailing off after 5500rpm now it just keeps pulling straight through to the red line; the Milltek dp's probably help out here as well, it feels very strong & would probably go on making power if the 'box would allow more revs.

Still needs some fine tuning and map work; it's currently running a low value boost map to keep the pressure down to acceptable levels so I'll probably be booking a slot on the MRC dyno soon coupled with some better fueling to make full use of the available boost. Feels like there's a lot of potential in there :rocker:

Sounds good. Glad is was just a hose that split/came off. Anyone who has ever owned a turbo car must have experienced it once when ragging your car....

That's the weird bit, the power was still there, well bottom end anyway, didn't dare rev it much with that gail blowing from under the lid, must be because the other turbo was still boosting
