We're all gunna get old, it's unavoidable, what's commendable though, is that Dave Perc ain't driving a Merc.

As Imola-Sid mentioned, it might be worth having the damage assessed with a professional detailer if you don't want to go down the bodyshop route. Some of the results achieved with modern polishes/machines are really impressive, so long as the damage isn't too deep

Unfortunately the scratch is deep, right through the paint.

Otherwise I would have had a detailers estimate, I've just spent £1600 having some bodywork done to get her tip top!
