Why do you need new one's? Mrc may have some going spare! I'm still waiting for Doug to get back to me though.

If you want bright then go 55w xenon HID upgrade or go home:

http://forum.rs246.com/viewtopic.php?f= ... 50#p508395

On bigger expanses of road they do a great job. Yes I notice the parrern a tad but in my experience, the things that I notice and bug me don't get noticed by the vast majority of others. Shrot of strapping on a set of PIAA rally lamps like I used to have, this is about as good as it gets on our beasts.

What's wrong with your headlights? Did you have a bump?

Have a look on the FK site. I seem to remember them having cheapo headlights on there.

I am talking about the complete unit not the bulbs.

One of the brackets is broken and the sealing of the headlights is as good as gone. (moisture)

But they don't give much info on their headlights and they are a pain in the arse to contact.

If it's just due to uv fading of the lenses this can rectified. For a gentle clear use t-cut. For more harsh clean use rubbing compound then t-cut. My old A6 was so bad I used 1500 grade wet and dry then t-cut and it did clear the lenses superbly :)

The Osram Rally ones are 65W and put out 2100 lumens cf. 1400 lumens of a normal 55W one. They basically stick an H4 bulb on the H7 base.

Can't imagine the little extra heat will do any damage.

Basically means you have just one bulb doing the work of both the low beam and high beam, by the use of a relay activated cut off shutter.
