I'll just get a puck then, and get a smaller stubby antenna for the roof!

Thanks for the help.

Puck-wise - just one from "Maplins" any good?

Fakra connection for RNS-E, SMB for RNS-D

For an Aerial i'm tempted by this http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 0863740724 looks just like factory one i had on my old B6.

Was there a conclusion to this? I have RNS-E and need FM to still work and want to replace the screw in mast with the spiral wire running round it. I'd like to replace it with something smaller and a bit less 80s looking. Anyone done this and it still work just as well?

Might have to get one of these. I don't mind the original antenna, but it is getting damaged when I put the car cover on it.

Have you actually fitted it? Same screw thread and everything?

Received it yesterday. It's a good fit. I wasn't even fussed about the looks, but I admit it does look better now.

Thanks for the heads up, Mav.

So the roof antenna has nothing to do with tv reception then?

That's what I thought the swirly bit was around the antenna.

It's part of the diversity system so it's used for both FM and TV.
