Yeah I'm sure I read 1000 odd were brought to the UK and 800 of those were Avants.

I remember the figure of about 1500 but mostly avants could be wrong was 8 years ago now I went to the launch.

There are loads on ebay but like everyone said buying the right one, mine has had about £12-£14k spent on it in years some by me but mostly Audi warranty and now Warranty Direct.

If MRC, Unit20 are too far I would highly recommend Steve and the boys at Russell Automotives, very friendly and experienced

this excludes Fuel, tyres and TLC

A sad day might be coming and mine will have to find a new home :( :(
when I get it back from having a new alternator and cambelt done that is

73k 2 lady owners, never raced or gone over 3500 rpm(get the best MPG then)

Not going to let go for 14k she is mint inside and out

After another coat of Zymol(a 2 weekly habbit)

I am completely gobsmacked... my gob, is, well and truly, smacked. You know it also sounds very good at higher revs? Going up the up a mountain side heading out of San Sebastian, hold 4th gear 5,000RPM -> two sweepers -> big stop -> 1st gear hairpin -> redline through the gears -> hold 4th gear 5,000RPM -> rinse/repeat. It's been the best sound the car has made since owning it (still no Miltek) and one of the best experiences of my life, full stop.

Each to their own, I'm not ragging on you, I'm just a bit shocked.

Check your post count... number of the beast, next post - 667, one up on the devil.

I knew it couldn't be true, great wind up mate. Only pootling around at 3500rpm would be like marrying Jessica Alba and only shagging her in the mouth.
Don't sell it, that's a lovely example and well taken care of. Certainly worth a lot more than £14K
