Hi Mooch! Glad your back, the place was going stale without you.

In a word! NO!!!
Why would you want to sprint your RS6 on the 1/4 mile anyway? Its perfect for rolling starts (20mph +) but the box just aint strong enough for the standing quarter. Dont do it to yourself / us. Unless its an experiment to see how many runs you can do before your box internals have a party.

Umm, surely a lot of folk here take the opportunity on occasion to leave other cars for dust at the lights. That's just as hard on the box.

Maybe the standing quarter is reserved for those with a warranty?

I agree that we probably do push the box a bit from the lights from time to time but the 1/4 mile is much harder on the system. Like i said, if you launch it agrresivley like you would on the start line at the Pod then thats where the problems will start.

I dont know of any warranty companies that cover 1/4 mile racing either!
