So David you still going to put this true idiots guide together? As a fellow idiot looking forward to it so I can attempt swapping the RNS-E in my A6 into the beast and the RNS-D into the A6

i dont know what happened in my first drive post install, but on my second drive it sorted itself out, must have been finding the right satilite or something ? anyway, its 100% perfect now and the nav is like 1m times better comaped to RNSD

as for the TRUE idiots guide, there seem to be guides out there, but they seem to infer some base level of knowledge, even Golfathers very well recieved and important advice failed to tell me exactly where the TMC unit is and how to access it ! but i got there in the end.

so will definately be putting a guie together for those TRUE idiots out there which can hopefully help save some money, as I had lined up HappyDaze to finish the install and they were going to charge me £95, but now that £95 is going towards the NON Res Milltek going on next week!

Thanks all for the advice given, really does show how this forum helps people lots
