Not too sure about the £2700 as my car has the audi warranty already and I will be renewing only. Been quoted around £1200 for this.

The named components does include major mechanical things like engine, transmission and DRC etc. I don't think it includes things like satnav, heated seats. You should be able to get a list of exclusions from dealership.

My renewal is coming up this month so have fingers crossed re complete warranty vs named components.

agree with figures chaps. I have heard from a good source that Warranty Direct are the best of a bad lot. I understand many warranty companies don't understand the drc system so you think you're buying a all signing all dancing warranty when it's practically useless.

Audi warranty all the time for me - no grief at the main dealer, most stuff sorted except for any interior trim - jobs a goodun IMO!
