Bugger I have this also. Was hoping to just ignore it but it sounds like another trip to the dealer to get it fixed. Also just had the front wheel barings done to stop a clicking coming from the front end- not a warranty item apparently so £400 later I have no clicking but still have that awful audi 4wd tyre scrub on tight slow corners and the occassional groan.

Have also had a groaning/creaking noise from the steering column. Had it all checked and it was fine apart from fluid level which was topped up and stopped it from making any noise. Apparently it is a common problem with V8s. It is noticeable when warm and less so when cold.

Good luck

Hmmm, I have this too, I can only really describe it as a "fart" from the steering, accompanied by a slight sensation thru the wheel...

Should I be paying Dundee Audi a visit?

Good Luck! Hope it doesn't need a new door, mine has now mostly stopped and I will wait to see if it comes back with the warmer weather.

Got it back yesterday
They have replaced the restrictor in the return pipe to the resivior

The noise was a groan and you can feel it through the steering, i normaly get it when truning a low speeds, i.e into my drive way

The next couple of days will show if it is cured!

Got a leaking shock too, surprise surprise and buckled wheels
