And Vagmachine - I'm very grateful for your post - Have reported to Action Fraud, and VSTAG - at least I can alert everyone including Autotrader

Oh - and Eddie - one of the guys did ask for a bottle of water!!
The C7 is in Camberley Audi having the AC sorted - but at least I can go back to the dealer on that one!

I was asking £7950 and getting no takers at all - eventually got a few interested around £6500 and these guys were offering £6750 which was still 2K above Webuyanycar. At 206000 it was substantially the highest mileage on the books at present.So how much did you let it go for ?
I actually sold at £3300 (cash - now in bank!) and at the time reckoned that with a blown engine was probably better off letting it go than getting it up to MRC for a re-build.
It's easy to be wise after the event!!

You will see the car advertised again on Gumtree or Facebook for £6k so that they can make their markup. But there isnt much you can do about it unfortunately. These guys target high mileage cars as its easier to get away with it.
