His insurers accepted liability so they will take the quote I get from my own garage and get it authorised and give me a like for like courtesy car. Hopefully my renewal wont be affected considerably..
Hope it works out for you. When someone crashed into my car they wanted to give me a courtesy car too - a like for like according to the paperwork. I didn't realise that the RS6 and a FIAT 500 were classed as like for like.....

Enterprise did mention a Mercedes. .. Don't think it will be a C63 though.

The crapper the car the better. That way you'll be happier to get back in yours.

Don't doubt it but then it's going for a service to be ready for AITP. Just noticed a vibration which varies with speed coming from front left I think I wonder of that could be the cause of my abs light. Could it be a problem with that arm?

Just an update. I ended up getting a VW Transporter as a courtesy as I am moving house so thought it would save me renting one. I'm happy with the paint job but they left one parking sensor not repainted but they said they will do it in a couple of weeks when paint is settled. That's fine as I will probably get another one done on the front. I keep looking at the badge on the back and maybe it's my OCD but it may not be exactly right. I guess there are measurements somewhere for the exact spot if anyone can help?

Now just my annoying ABS problem to remedy buts it's going in for a service tomorrow.

Here's the Rear RS6 badge - viewtopic.php?f=2&t=104391&hilit=badge+location#p605811

I'll have a look for the 4 rings spacing later.

Just had a measure of mine - looks like the Audi rings are 20mm from the bottom of the ring to the non metal bit!

Bloody hell I was on about the RS badge but now it's glaringly obvious it's the rings! Def too high, would it be easy to move them or ask the bodyshop to? Check out the before..

They're stuck on with double sided tape and the rings don't flex at all so you're more than likely to snap them if you're not very careful.

Try waxed dental floss to remove it.

The position of those rings is a bit of a shocker.
