Im actually angling at getting a few links to peoples own Mugello blue cars so I can make a better judgement on it before I see the car in the flesh
Which one are you looking at Dave? There are a few around, all with differing amounts of common faults resolved. Some have new gearboxes even which is piece of mind in that area I suppose.

Looking at it tomorrow. Allegedly one owner, a new gearbox and FSH.

They do the miles with ease. As long as the gearbox is fully documented, it should be ok but get it warmed up and drive it hard to see if it slips or gets confused at all, up and down the 'box. Have a peak through the fog grills too, to see if you can see the intercoolers blacking at the bottom edge suggesting leaks, etc. let us know how you get on.

Thanks for the advice. Iv just sold a D2 S8 with the same basic gearbox so im aware of the major issues.
I own a number of cars so it's not gonna get driven much, hence why the mileage isn't an issue. Ideally I'd like to make sure I get a decent one to begin with.
Not my ideal colour combination either but the fact that it's supposed to have such a comprehensive history makes it worth a look at least.

Well that was a wasted journey. Car was a lot rougher than the seller Suggested. I knew it was gonna be high mileage but it wasn't looked after at all.
Oh well.
Still looking!
