Passed MOT. :D
But when loosen the plug to fill the rear shaft stuff oil up, the oil came out massively. Didnt understand that.
How is it possible to overfill it? or does the oil expand that much? (or did we loose the wrong plug...?)
Think it was around 300-500ml that came out and burnt the mechs hand...

It looks like the right one.

I'm thinking that the oil seal from the box to the transfer box has failed letting ATF into it.

is it possible the oil expands when hot enough to drip out the filling hole?
Did you guys top it up when box was cold?

Yeah, but not that much. A dribble maybe.

You need to do the level and see if it does it again in a while.

You might wanna check the ATF level, too.

I just remember i wasnt present when they performed the seal replacement. Normally im always present, but they couldnt tell me when they started with it that day...
Wouldnt surprise me all their ramps were in use (the second time car was in for it, first time all the oil came out on my garage floor) so they just jacked it up on the right side of the car and filled it...
