I don't want to put my name down yet as I will unlikely be able to confirm until close to the actual date but I'm interested. Even if I don't use the rolling road these things are normally a good meet.

I'm new to the forum but it's not far from Bristol so could be a good idea. Interested to see if my car needs a carbon clean up.

Hi, I have not used them before but I know people who've been and said they have a very good 4WD set-up, from what I've read they seem to have a good reputation :thumbs:

I've heard good things about SRR.
Daytona RS6 C5 Avant. Viper'd, Billies, Waggers, MTM box brain, C6 stoppers, xcarlink, R8 coolant cap (woohoo)
///M3 E46 | XC90 (V8, natch) | Passat GTE | RR Classic V8 flapper

I believe SRR have moved slightly since I was last there. Nice guys and very knowledgeable.

Also note: The SRR is commonly known as the 'heartbreaker' dyno. Many, many times I have been there with people and the dyno figures have been lower than expected - perhaps they are just more accurate/realistic though. Still, I've also seen factory cars achieve almost exactly the standard figures.

I think I will have a run down there tomorrow and check them out, might go for a sat visit if all goes well, never done the RR yet so be interesting to find out where my car at

DynoDynamics dynos are known for accurate and consistent results and that has certainly been my experience. Much comes down to the operator however and Charlie at SRR has an excellent reputation and is highly regarded. I am sure there will be positive mentions on here if you search and he is well liked on Pistonheads as well.

I recall a magazine feature where they took standard cars mystery shopper style to a number of rolling roads and the figures from SRR were all the closest if not near enough bang on the manufacturer figures.

There is a B8 S4 owner on PH (maybe here too) that took his car there standard and made well over stock power as they pretty much all do. No heartbreak unless you have incorrect expectations.

If the want is to organise a RS246 event, either host (MRC or SRR) should see you have a good day. A new or moved thread in Meets would help as you say.

However as Gavla mentioned, if you take a look on AudiSRS there is already a Audi S/RS event running at SRR on the 6th Sept. It's an option. If only a few to half a dozen or so of you want to run it could be the easy route.

I haven't linked out of etiquette but take a look and you will find it.
