It might be hidden behind the module which is screwed to the bulkhead behind the glove box. Memory is failing - it's been 5 years since I did it!

I seem to remember the grommet being very long on the engine side. Plenty big enough to get a coat hanger through and the GPS antenna socket back inside the car, though.

There was a large loom tucked behind that module. I will remove it tomorrow morning and see if that brings any joy.

Yes. It amplifies the GPS signal and sends it round the car. Anything at uses GPS will benefit.

I had this issue with mine as it has the solar reflective glass.

Easiest and cheapest way was an eBay GPS puck and run to the back of the car and tucked into the corner of the nearside glass behind the rear passenger seat. It doesn't appear to have the reflective coating there so I get a decent signal.

All in £10 and 10 mins tucking the wires behind the internal plastic sill panels.

No reason why it shouldn't be exactly the same. The C6 also has a 75X terminal for switched 12V.

Hi shop, was just wondering about how I can feed the ariel into the engine bay to get it behind the grill or somewhere suitable to get a signal

There will be a rubber grommet some where in the cab compartment for you to feed the wire through into the engine bay. You just gotta find it.

There's bound to be a big grommet with a big fat bundle of cables running from the engine bay through the bulkhead into the cabin. I bet it's in the same place as the C5 but you should be able see it from inside the engine bay.
