Doesn't make a blind bit of difference though . the alternator output is regulated, so it don't matter if the lump is screaming at 8000 revs or 500 revs.
3 starts of a V8 is enough to upset it, only run 100 odd mile in between those starts with a few ancillaries on and its game over for a battery.

Look at it like your bank account , you stick 500 a week in, but spend 600 a week, and there's no coming back

Yep, batteries have a habit of just letting go. :bash: Usually in the most annoying of places!!! My truck usually lets go sat on a weighbridge....... :thumbsdown:
