I do,and I never apologise for it :beerchug: The tyres were bought as the wheels were originally for my D2 A8 which I sold to get this. As for originality its already on aftermarket wheels anyway :boohoo:

I'm impressed with your eagle eyed vision. I was just wondering why you'd swap Bimotas for Bentley wheels and never noticed that he parked like a Bentley driver.

Nice looking beast in a good colour though.

Why would I swap wheels? Because I like swapping wheels.... Bimotos are nice,I like their stats but they're heavy bitches and theyre a bit common

As said before on here wheels are a personal choice. Living in Deutschland and having to swap between Summer and Winter wheels twice a year wore me down. Plus I discovered I'm never 100% happy with whichever wheels adorn my car and thought for a change I'll save towards the inevitable gearbox / DRC failure instead.

I keep toying with a set of 19" BBS CK but I'm not sure what colour choice for a Daytona Grey as I'm not convinced by the retailed colours available! I'm no where near as bad as you for wheels but have 2/3 sets for 3 of my motors currently. I was forced to shift a set of winters recently as OC Domestic had a SOH failure!

Ive done work refurbing alloys to a decent standard for a while(mainly splits)as a hobby so buying scabby sets and refinishing them doesnt frighten me and actually as an investment makes sense.... At present with the A8 still in my posession ive got 5 cars,3 mark1 vw's,an S3(horrific hateful horrible hellish thing)and the D2 A8 is still with me just now although it'll be en route to its new home soon hopefully so back down to four cars soon. My OC is fairly understanding thankfully although sometimes there is a certain amount of rolling eyes to contend with :ban:

Normally she's fine but I'm starting a new business atm and until we've finished making the factory unit good the house looks like a tinkers caravan.

I've been restoring a P38 RR for her to tow a horse box and it came with 22" Stormers which I fixed up and have promised to sell for the last 18 months but haven't had the time or inclination.

The problem I have is I hate paying other people for work I'm capable of myself but can't find the time to do :boohoo:

Sorry to here you got bitten a week into ownership! How did you resolve the P0741 in the end?

Not overly concerned with it right now,no loss of drive experienced so may be an old transmission code or ill sell a set of wheels or something. Its not a car I bought on a whim unaware of the running costs and I can cover it if need be I guess. Its not going to have an overly easy life but it will be pampered and it is a keeper but ive got other cars for thrashing and general use that I can use in the interim. Its meant to be going for paint and a winter lay up anyway so if it needs the TC done it needs it done.

Daytona id probably stick with black, titanium or silver

my mk1s...
