I have the KW v3s. They have adjustable ride height, bound and rebound and I understand are rustproof too. I think they cost somewhere close to £2k but have to say the handling is excellent, turns a barge into a proper B road racer with the Hotchkiss arbs. Worth it if you keep the car.

As promised i picked up the car yesterday and the billies feel great not to firm in fact comfort wise they feel almost identical to the drc.

Havnt really had a chance to explore the handeling improvments but the car does feel more planted and doesnt weave and tramline like it did with failing drc the only 1 thing i have noticed is i took a roundabout in the wet yday and got quite a lot of understeer but that could be the junk pzeros on the front ( soon to be binned )

So all in all i can highly recommend the billies i think they're called p14 not too expensive either (1800 all in)

Good choice!

Funny enough, I get slight under steer on my p-zeros too. Like you though, they're being binned this month.

I dont understand why people rate the pzeros so highley i had t1r's on my last car and they were sooooo much better it was a twin turbo 300zx and it felt far more stable than the 6 in wet conditions, if it werent for old knobbly id fit them on the 6 in fact im thinking of giving knobbly the chop so i can fit them!!

DO they rate them? I thought the Pzero were widely regarded as being poo on the RS6.

Im not sure but people must rate them as they are on everything from bmw 318d's to the amg mercs my neigbour has a tdi a4 and he swears by his pzeros and wont have me say a bad word against them.

Although the first time he saw my 6 his words were ' isnt that a bit of a grandads car? ' shows how much he knows granted it is debadged but id have thought the massive wheel arches, low stance, huge tyres and twin exhausts might be a give away, if my grandad drove my 6 i think he'd have a heart attack!!!! i blame formula 1 for the recent pirelli craze, they're not good, my bum cheeks clench so tight when i go round a corner in the wet!

Looks like I might have a good combo then once it's all fitted, Billies, Goodyear F1 & the new ARB's

Thanks all for the advise.

Good work. That's my set up and I'm very happy with it. Glad people said to go with the pss9 and hotchkis.

Gents, just need some advice for freshly failed DRC system.
Bilstein B14 PSS or B16 PSS9? Read the excellent fitting guide & see most go for the PSS9 with quick forum search, just appreciate some experienced advice before committing.
About reduced ride height, any recommended settings for everyday driving?
Thanks for any input.

Hi all, I fitted the pss9 kit after all & it rides as well as the old DRC (when it worked!!!).

I haven't upgraded the ARB's as yet, but going back to the billies I run them 10mm lower than a stock 6, about the same height as a plus on shock setting 4 (front & rear).

Driving the6 is bliss now knowing that the suspension is sorted for now.

I can now worry about something else there's plenty of that!!!!!
