it is indeed awesome the tuning potential the C6 has, from 580hp to go up to almost 800hp without major modifications is really appealing and a big bonus for the car...there's one guy here claiming he's got 1000hp on his C6 RS6, never seen a dyno, that's only his opinion! I am curious to what is the limit they can take considering the stock engine and gearbox... Anyway, another big plus for these strong gearboxes on the C6 :) !
2004 RS6 by ABT, madly in love with it, RNS-E, ST coilovers, new TC, 19x9x29 RS4 B7 wheels, non-resonated Milltek w/blk tips, TBC....SOLD - but never to be forgotten!
2004 RS6 ebony schwarz, SE exhaust, 19'' rims - SOLD
'09 RS6 C6 - the great white - now, this means business!

I won't read the review, i seen a bit on "edition38" which ruined my night.. but as per, its all down to personal taste and opinion..
I'm my personal taste and opinion there is no better car than the C5 bang for buck, style and a definite future/current classic...
C5 is so much smarter to :<beep>_you:

Bang for buck? When you're forking out £5k for a gearbox, £2k for intercoolers, another £1-2k for DRC replacement...
The C5 may well be a classic someday, but the C6 has just as much right, considering there are a 75% less C6's on the road vs the C5, and now Audi have gone back to V8, it is going to be known as 'the V10 one'. The one and only thing the C5 has over the C6 is the noise, the C5 sounds a lot lot better than the C6. But the C6 sounds great too.

Can you get the C6's V10 to rumble like the C5's V8 or is that asking the impossible of a V10?

As I've said before the C6 is almost certainly going to be my next car but the noise a car makes is very important to me and I've yet to hear a C6 that sounds anywhere near as good as a C5 with a Milltek.

It won't stop me buying one but it would be good to know.

Prices seem crazy high tbh... But if you take any car to the limits things break! I think the drc on the C5 is amazing.. Steering is tight and responsive I have to keep reminding myself its an estate

My C5 plus hadn't been taken to it's limits when the DRC failed at 9,000 miles. It was standard. The DRC may keep the car flat, but the main difference is the C6 has a much more direct and communicative steering, plus the DRC can be super smooth one minute, and then as aggressive as feck the next, all at the touch of a button.
How are C6 prices crazy high? There is a receipt for my car from three years ago (when it was three months old with 3k miles on it) it sold for £82,470 (£93k new). I paid less than half that amount. The only thing that's crazy high is C5 running costs, the C6 is that much better than the C5 the price difference is justified, and then some.

Worth it though. My last tank was 212 miles, before the fuel light came on and I filled up again. On Sunday I've got a 300 mile round trip with my baby nephew in the back so will be taking it easy, the plus did 24ish on that same journey a few weeks ago, so , I will see what this does, not that MPG is an issue for me as I have to drive my Citroen for work everyday.

Bear in mind Amar has got more than 750bhp. They don't come cheap to feed. And it's 250bhp more than average stage 1 mapped C5. And what can you get out of a C5 tank driving normally? 300miles? Does 50 miles difference really matter for these cars?
