GY F1s are better than the PSS in the wet (on a C5), they just are. After going from GY F1s to PSS, I'll go back to the GY F1s.
One thing I noticed when swapping to winter tyres, is that the circumference grooves (water channels) are no where near as deep nor wide on the PSS compared to the GY F1s.
That said, I think they shouldn't be compared, IMO the PSS is an all out performance and tuning tyre for lighter cars ('Rari, Porker and M cars). It breaks away too quickly on the C5 where as the GY F1 continued to grip and cope better, probably because these can shed water better.

So far I haven't had any loss of grip in the dry on Assym tyres, so for me they rock. Not tried Miches, can't really ever seeing me move from Goodyears.
previous- Pug 205 gti, 306 gti, 309 gti Goodwood.
Audi S3, S4 V8 avant.
Porsche Macan Turbo.
Gone but NEVER forgotten - C5 RS6 Misano red avant.

Now - Empty garage

If you don't know where you're going, any road will take you there!

Note: PSS are stupidly good in the dry.

I had the PSS spinning in 3rd @ 4500RPM, never happened with the GYs and they were worn.

I use PSS on my V8V and they are superb.

Jury's out on longevity (only done 2k on them thus far), and they are dire on compacted snow :-) But in all other departments they are superb.

So the PSS loose grip when you floor it, and the Goodyear just grips and goes?!
I used to own a 6, now I'm just a lurker!
