Gear box refurbed by 517 2013 mod!

Mine will only fit genuine Audi. But I've read plenty of Audi dealers fitting Millteks/H&R springs etc... on the B7 forum.

My dealers are good to be fair but they do have their work cut out with me as a customer And yes they will fit non audi parts if requested to.

Yes, 100%. I can't remember who now. But they defiantly fitted a Milltek and another H&R lowering springs.

To get the most from the 4.2 you need GT30s and you can't fit those with a slushbox in situ.

Do not refit the A.C.E converter, leave the one 517 mate to the rebuilt 'box. Simplez.

Taken further advise over the ace tc and a 517 gearbox, it seems as both are uprated there is no problem with mixing and matching so looks like the ace will be staying in the car

Wow, that's great advice. Mating a run-in TC with a freshly rebuilt 'box, genius. So if the newly installed gearbox+TC implodes, how will you determine which item was at fault?

Amanda. The 517 box also comes with an uprated TC doesn't it? Why do you want to put an old ACE on? The box and TC come out together. So just bang the new 517 box and TC in, what's the point in pulling the TC off each box and transplanting...I do not understand. Explain your logic.
