Yeah, ask if that's the price per 4 or per 8.

I don't like the look of those pins on the back of the pads. The R8 has 'em, but not the RS4 B7 or RS6 C5 AFAIK.

Thanks, Shop. I've e-mailed them about stock and if it is 8 or 4. If it is 8, I will order the XP10. My brakes cannot handle 530 BHP. I am measuring my stock ARBs tomorrow too, I am about 60% sure I will come back from the US with a pair of Hotchkiss ARBS too, how exciting. :)

Shop, if I could, I would. But I've only got a 20kg baggage allowance and the ARBS boxed weigh 13kg. I can book 5KG extra baggage at £17.50 per 5kg one way. So if I take 10kg in my allowance, I only need to book an extra 5KG to account for the extra 3kg. I work for the airline and still cannot get a straight answer here in head office. I am afraid of them telling me to 'feck off' at check in on the way back when I turn up with my big box and may have to leave them behind so I don't want to take the risk with anyone elses ARBS. Let me call the duty office and see if they can instill any confidence in me.

Sorted. Perks of the job. Spoke to the management in our US resort office and the check in manager will be aware and expecting me to be bringing my ARBS back with me and have cleared them. R-E-S-U-L-T. Now, I just need to order them.
Shop, if you want anything smaller bringing back from the US, then I am happy to do so.

Sorry for the thread rape, Footers.

Hello Amar,

Thanks for contacting us...Carbotech's pricing has changed a bit.  Fronts are now $286 and rears are $174.  We dont have them in stock, but can have them made and ready to ship within 1 week.  Just let me know if you would like to place an order.

Induktion Motorsports

So about £185, still not bad. I think the fronts are nearly £400 in the UK...

Amar, based on things like the avg MPG etc that you seem to get, I really don't think that ther XP10's will be your best bet. I bet money on the fact that you will hate the noise that they make and how they feel when pootling around in traffic etc. While I still haven't ruled out my calipers being mildly shot, I just don't think you will have the patience with them that the more hardcore of us have.

I now just always think about how I am going to modulate the pedal to minimize noise in low speed stuff and madam has got used to me slamming on the anchors at least once every trip out as a ritual now to put heat in to them/clean them :)

My routine is an 18 mile round trip to work Mon-Thurs, pootle. Friday, unleash hell. On Fridays, the brakes don't give me the confidence to push it as much as I'd like too. Occasionally, on my Mon-Thurs journey the brakes will feel a little lacking, if I come off a slip road too fast for example. But generally, the Pagids are OK for an everyday road pad, but I want one that lets me push the car when I want to too. Maybe I should go for the bobcat/XP8 pads then, oooh, I dunno. I just want to upgrade something.

Anyone else want me to bring them back a set of these pads at the above price? I am bringing two sets back and have managed to sort free postage to my condo in Miami. Could probably manage one more set, how much do these bad boys weigh a box do you lot reckon? I haven't really packed yet, doing that now so will let you know if I can sort space for a fourth set.
