Why only H&R then... Justification would be handy... Thanks for info

It's the kind of kit that is safety critical. You want a good brand name. H&R is the reference for spacers and they're not expensive.
Daytona RS6 C5 Avant. Viper'd, Billies, Waggers, MTM box brain, C6 stoppers, xcarlink, R8 coolant cap (woohoo)

^what he said
...plus the fact that the slightest imperfection in the fabrication could result in wheel vibrations, excess tyre wear, etc.
Will cost more than that eBay reference, but more than worth it.

Cheers Guys,

Understanding the Justification now...

Got to get longer bolts as well it seems... :assflash:

Has anybody added these spacers to get over the Knobbly issue, don't want to spend £100 if its not going to help..

I haven't removed the knobbly bits yet, and am running H&R's that are beginning to show signs of sagginess.
The Federal's seem ok so far - but I haven't had to brake suddenly in the wet/dry and haven't been on the track .....yet, can't wait to try the GY E.F1's next year.
Thanks

Can't get the ps2s RO1 anywhere here in switzerland :-(.. Only the MO1

Interestingly enough I've found a few places where they say the MO1s will fit the RS6. Would anyone here be able to confirm that?

Sneak across the border and get them fitted in Germany. Don't know about Mercedes fitment.

I too would love to hear some 'real-world' experience of the Michelin PS2 255/35/19 M01 (Mercedes AMG fitment).
My car could do with new boots and the R01 doesn't appear to be available any more.
My knobby bits are gone, if that makes any difference :-)

How strange Rovi, I'm in the exaxtly same boat at the moment, and I've heard from the grape vine that they will not fit, but asking for more information on that.
