Standard OEM Wheel size
Standard OEM Wheel size
Hi all, I have been trying to find out what the standard size wheels were for my 2003 RS6 were from factory, I have seen conflicting articles online, mine are 19" i have sent them off to get refurbished at the moment so can't check the ET etc, as i have also seen that the rears are 9J and the fronts are 8.5J I run 255 35 19 tyres on them, i will obviously check them to make sure before i fit, just wondered if someone could shed some light on what sizes they should be,
Cheers

Re: Standard OEM Wheel size
If you can look at the build Sticker (usually in the handbook and spare wheel well) there will be codes that will tell you, though offhand I don't know what you need to look for.
I'd have thought 18s would be factory fit though, but maybe 19s?
If you've got a tyre pressure Sticker (fuel flap) that might also give a clue....
This suggests 18s as OEM, different summer and winter though: https://www.wheel-size.com/size/audi/rs6/c5-2002-2004/

You can also write (email) to Audi and get a full spec, did mine a while ago and they also sent a copy in the post. Can't recall the details of how though.
It's something they have to do to conform with EU and other national regulations should you move countries.

Found it: cocrequests@vwg.co.uk to ask for a Certificate of Conformity (supply VIN, registration, name, address and email)
and type.approval@vwg.co.uk to ask for Statement of Compliance and Date of Manufacture letter (same details needed)
The replies I got specified not only wheel sizes but actual tyre makes/types and sizes too. It is in German though.....

Re: Standard OEM Wheel size
Just for info.
My wheels are 19x9 et29. Direct fit.
My original wheels were 19x9 et35.
With these I had spacers. I don’t know why but without spacers the front wheels fouled the calipers.
