New RS6 owner here

Post by Dannyboy263 » Wed Jan 31, 2024 6:26 pm

Hello C5 RS6's,

Really looking forward to sharing with you guys here and learning as much as I can on this platform. Not new to Audi but new to one of my dream cars since I was in High School. Really blessed to have found a mint condition one with 102k miles. At 98k miles, previous owner (Certified Audi Engineer) pulled motor and drive train and had a complete rebuild. over $34k worth of work. Yes, he also took care of the torque converter. upgraded Hybrid turbos with 60mm compressors, catless DPs and wastegate pretension adjusted slightly higher. Previous owner is also a niche (need-to-know) tuner and gave it a conservative 91+ octane tune he calls stage 3- lol. Car drives amazing, currently sent him the TCU to have a matching tune to the engines new output power. Paint is mint, he had it repainted to OEM specs during engine overhaul, I went ahead and PPFd the whole front end and rockers, and then ceramic coated the whole car. Currently have a different set of wheels on order for it, and a Milltek non-resonated exhaust should be here soon. When well taken care of this RS6s are prob one of the rarest and nicest in the Audi stall. Will be looking to purchase a B7 RS4 at some point unless I find a nice low mile gated Gen1 V10 R8. thank you for having me, is there anything else I need to be on the lookout for on this platform?

To-do list, AC compressor went out when Audi did a recharge on my AC ("not their fault") oh well so now will be replacing it along with dryer, good thing its winter and I dont need AC yet.

I've always loved the limo shape. There are some interesting limo builds in the US and Germany, some manual swaps making crazy power.

I guess you're in the US or Canada? I also like some of the 034 products you have over there.

Good luck with it!

Thank you! I am in Tucson, AZ and she's pretty mint... Installed the Milltek exhaust last night and the English company did an excellent job developing it.

Yes in the US I am in AZ. I did see that 034 makes great stuff. I found out that previous owner of this particular one was the founder of VAST performance.
