Selling my RS6

Post by MattyVRS6 » Sun Jun 11, 2023 5:46 pm

The time has come to sell my dream to fund another. I've owned since Oct 2021

Will be listing it at £9.5k and see what happens. I've spent a fair bit on it including a gearbox service at unit 20, 4 x ps4s, coolant pipe replacement and other bits and bobs totalling £2k.

The previous owner did loads to it including cambelt and waterpump, replacing the wheels, intercoolers and other stuff I will list.

It's passed every mot from 2006 to 2022, a couple of years had advisories for tyres and headlight aim. Last year it failed on a tyre and a ball joint which I sorted.

It had a new gearbox in 2014 at approx 95k.

Drives great and cleans up well although the front is pitted and it has a few bits of lacquer peel.

The headlining is sagging.

There is no service history book but I have receipts for all the important bits. It has 2 key and a Pioneer double din.

Get the headliner done. There’s a bloke in Northamptonshire iirc. Capt Ric had it done. You’ll get a better price.

GLWS. Sorry to see you go. You’re dead to us. ;)

Haha I've spent enough on it without doing the headliner although it was just maintenance really, nothing unexpected but then all the jobs that usually need doing (gearbox/ suspension/ intercoolers) had been done.

Probably been one of the most reliable cars I've had surprisingly!
