Yes Barry. I was well happy with mine. Been on quite a while now and it still looks like the day I fitted it.
Surprising how a badge can make such a big difference.

Any news on your 6. Reunited next week ?

Right so I'm 99% done with the steering wheel refirb.

It was quite a process, but as it was all done in steps with waiting between cleaning, priming and colour coats etc, it fit with looking after the wee ones.

Its come out better than it went in, so happy with that, no more 'etched' appearance between 10 and 2. The leather really takes a beating during the process, especially the cleaning with methylated spirits and scouring, but its given me the confidence that leather is indeed hard wearing and can be bought 'back to life' in most cases.

A new 2nd hand one was the ambulance at the bottom of the cliff, but I wanted to give this a shot 1st. I have to wait a few weeks till I hit it with conditioner which should knock back some of the glossy appearance.

In summary I'm happy with the outcome. Would I do it again? If I have to go over every perforation - no, b*gger that.

Looks a good 👍 job well done that, I would be proud of that myself, it’s always better when you’ve done it yourself, yes Steve funny you mention it, I spoke with grizz yesterday he said will be finished mid next week so hopefully reunited soon enough it’s been along wait, got some new switches to go in when she’s back as well menu button, centre console switch, electric window switches were worn etc so they will be going in as soon as it’s back, it will be like a new car with the gearbox etc, also reminded him regarding the oil leak as well can’t wait, only 3 trains to get down there to pick it up mind.

Lander. You have a lot more patience than I have.
Well done mate. Looks like a nice job.

Barry. Not long now to that long drive. Also very interested on the outcome of the location of your oil leak.
Mine seems to have self healed but don’t know for how long ?

Definitely looks better than before. I will be interested to see how it looks once the conditioner is applied. Worst case you could take some wet and dry to it to get rid of the sheen.

Same, though the shine as reduced a little now I've had a few drives.
