I just bought this............
Re: I just bought this............
This just shows people that are thinking of buying an RS6 that its not all doom and gloom. Nice to read this write up, just puts a smile on my face , or is it the wine lol.
Re: I just bought this............
Hi Everyone,
I just want to say goodbye to all of you great people on the C5 forum.
After buying my car on 57K in 2010 I have just sold it to a good friend on 116K.
It has been a wonderful experience, a really outrageous car that has given me loads and loads of fun.
As any of you here will know, it has taken me and my family (missus plus 3 kids, all now grown up!) up the mountains skiing every year and also been an almost daily driver/commuter.
I have been forced to move on as the impending October ULEZ border will be 50 yards from my front door and obviously the C5 isn't compliant.
The good news is, I've bought a C6 RS6 to continue the fun!
I couldn't quite afford the C7 but I think I've found a really stunning C6 which I'll post when it arrives.
I'll still be on the forum, just over in the C6 section.
Thank you to MRC and Greg Howell for all of their help and support over the years. I'm really glad I took the groups advice and used Ben and Doug for the annual service and they introduced me to Greg who kept the bodywork in tip top shape.
Best Wishes to All,
Simon (Carlson).
