HELP NEEDED ON FRONT BRAKES

Please can someone help me with this. I ve gone to replace my front pads but the pin that holds the pads in is seized solid. Where is best to get a new one as i am going to destroy this one getting it out.

Hi not sure where you can get new pins from but if it’s just to get you moving and get the job done it’s only a couple of bolts at the rear of the Cali per 21 mm bolts I think and you can remove pads and Caliper together from the disc and remove pads from the caliper and get the job done , as long as the pins are not badly damaged should be safe in position as they are .

Brings back some horrible memories, I changed al discs and pads a few months back, my pins were seized solid, I sprayed loads of penatrating oil on and left to soak, tried several punches twisting, cutting and turning and still nothing, drilled them out in the end, 1.5 hour job turned into all day. Got pin/spring set from eBay

Cheers fella's. I removed the allen key bolts and changed the pads that way.

I'm just having mine completely remanufactured. It aint cheep, but I wanted a proper job.
I'll post a pic once they're back - they looked a lot like that when I sent them out.
